Mr.R.Anandaraj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.
2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.03.2016 for inclusion of his name in the panel of Chief Civil Surgeon for the year 2016-2017.
4. It is stated by the petitioner that he joined duty as Assistant Surgeon at Government Primary Health Centre, Maramadakki, Pudukkottai on 30.05.1989. It is further stated that he completed 25 years of service and he is eligible to be promoted as Chief Civil Surgeon. But the respondent failed to include the petitioner's name in the panel. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation on 10.03.2016. The same is said to be pending. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
