JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) This intra-court appeal has been instituted challenging the writ order dated 03.03.2022 passed in W.P(MD)No.13234 of 2017. 2.The writ Court considered the merits and dismissed the Writ Petition filed by the appellant herein, mainly on the ground that the fifth respondent in the Writ Petition was found eligible and was granted promotion in the year 2006. During the relevant point of time, the appellant was found not eligible for promotion to the post of Middle School Headmaster. Thus, his case was not considered.

3.That apart, the writ Court made a finding that the promotion to the appellant's junior was granted in the year 2006 and the Writ Petition was filed in the year 2017, after a lapse of 11 years and more specifically, after the appellant had attained the age of superannuation. For all these reasons, the Writ Petition was dismissed and this Court does not find any infirmity in the writ order impugned.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
