PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.177 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused herein, who was arrested on 06.07.2023 for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(a) r/w 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.177 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 06.07.2023, in a motor vehicle, the petitioner was having possession of 10 nos. 180 ml. Liquor bottles illegally. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person. He is not involved in any offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is involved in four previous cases, Out of which, in two cases, he was convicted by the trial Court. Fine amount has also been paid.

5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage. The petitioner can revive the bail application after reasonable time.
