O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner by considering his online application dated 13.07.2019 which was acknowledged by the respondent office vide online application No.TN 720190713312.
2.Heard Mr.S.Sukumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3.In order to obtain legal heir certificate for the deceased brother of the petitioner, the petitioner had given an online application on 13.07.2019 to the respondent and an acknowledgement to that effect also has been issued by the respondent. However, the same so far has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner through online for getting legal heir certificate would be decided on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ petition and with the consent of both sides, this Writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the following direction:

legal heir certificate and decide the same and pass order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
