This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled for one day i.e. on 31.08.2019 at 10.00 p.m. to 01.09.2019 at 10.00 a.m. going to be held in the ground situated in Nambi Thoppu, Thirukurungudi, Tirunelveli District.

2. Heard both sides.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 31.08.2019 at 10.00 p.m. to 01.09.2019 at 10.00 a.m. in Nambi Thoppu, Thirukurungudi, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner made a representation on 26.08.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith, by imposing necessary conditions.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
