ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025.
2.This Court is suo motu impleading the following as 7th respondent: "National Investigation Agency, New Delhi-110 003."
Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments wherever necessary. 3.The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected to the Popular Front of India. The earlier vendor has let out the property to the said organization. Subsequently, the present 2/6
petitioner has purchased the same and he has not let out the said property. Therefore, he is no way connected to the said organization. Further, he submitted that there is a communication from the National Investigation Agency, New Delhi to the National Investigation Agency, Chennai. There was no order of communication to the revenue authorities to lock the premises. Therefore, without any order from the National Investigation Agency, the revenue officials have locked the premesis.
4.The Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 4 to 6 submitted that the building was locked by the 7th respondent. Therefore, they did not have any authority to unlock the same and it is only the NIA ought to consider the plea of the petitioner. The present representation is not submitted to the newly impleaded 7th respondent. Further, the building is in dilapidated condition and it may collapse at any time. 5.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation to the newly impleaded 7th respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the newly impleaded 7th respondent shall consider the representation in accordance to law within a period of eight weeks therefrom. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on merits. Since, the building is in dilapidated condition and it may 3/6
collapse at any time, the 7th respondent is directed to act expeditiously as possible.
6.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
