ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to dispose of his Appeal in Appeal No.1027/2011, to rectify the error that had occurred during UDR updation, in respect of the property situated in in Survey Field No.61/4, Kumarapatti Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering his representation dated 05.04.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Paranjothi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, 16 cents of land in the above mentioned survey number belonged to his father, Ayyakannu, as per the resettlement patta. During UDR updation, the patta was wrongly issued in the name of one Ganesa Gounder. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the respondent in Appeal No.1027/2011.

The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit the appeal filed by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner in Appeal No. 1027/2011 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the above mentioned Ganesa Gounder. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
