Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. There is a considerable justification in the petitioner's counsel contention that even without a semblance of right or title, the original settlement deed was registered by the third respondent. However, there is no need to probe the issue further because the said settlement deed has been subsequently cancelled. Therefore, as on date, the slate has been wiped clean and hence, the petitioner may not have any subsisting grievance.

3. It is of-course open to the petitioner to complain against the registering authority before the disciplinary authority. Leaving open the other rights and remedies of the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
