Mr.S.S.Sundara Pandian, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the third respondent.
2.The petitioner has challenged the impugned communication, dated 15.02.2025 of the first respondent, wherein the petitioner has been asked to report with necessary documents for enquiry at the passport Office between 09.30 am and 12.00 pm., on all working days in connection with a case registered against the petitioner in Crime No.17 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 307, 324 and 506(2) IPC.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the third respondent submits that the petitioner has wrongly impleaded the third respondent, when indeed the petitioner should have impleaded the Inspector of Police, AvudaiyarKoil Police Station.
4.It is further submitted that the petitioner is the 14th accused in Crime No. 17 of 2022, in respect of which, a charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, AvudaiyarKoil in PRC.No.12 of 2024. 5.Considering the same, there is no question of granting any relief to the petitioner at this stage. In fact, there is no scope for directing the first respondent even to process the passport application directly. 6.Considering the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, by permitting the petitioner to move an appropriate application at appropriate time before the learned Judicial Magistrate, AvudaiyarKoil in PRC.No.12 of 2024 for the first respondent to facilitate the request of the petitioner for issuance of the passport. 3/5
