ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above petition, invoking Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings and to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.255 of 2023, dated 06.01.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that in pursuance of the direction of this Court, the respondent Police, after completing the investigation has filed the final report as undeducted.

3. As rightly contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the undeducted report cannot be considered as final report. No doubt, the undeducted report was filed before the jurisdictional Court and the same is pending.

4.Considering the above, the jurisdictional Police is hereby directed to proceed with further investigation and file a final report in accordance with 2/4

law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
