ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner plying E.Vehicles at surrounding of Kodaikanal Lake.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is plying E.Rickshaws and E.Two wheeler around the Kodaikanal lake area and these vehicles are operated through Electric battery and for plying these vehicles registration from Revenue Transport Officer and permission from police authorities are not necessary. He would further submit that he has sent a representation dated 14.08.2019 to the respondents through E.mail and even thereafter the respondents have not considered the same and did not pass any orders. Therefore he has filed the present writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner did not sent any written communication to the respondents for redressing his grievance.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also without going into the merits of the case the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks therefrom.

5. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
