The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the rejection order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 11.01.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to give permission and protection to perform the cultural programme of Aadal Paadal on 16.01.2016 in connection with the Pongal Festival at Aathirampatty, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.
