This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 201 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kottar Police Station, Kanyakumari District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.201 of 2019 and they are about to file the charge sheet before the concerned jurisdictional Court and hence the FIR cannot be quashed at his stage.

3. Hence the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, however the respondent police is directed to file final report before the concerned jurisdictional court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
