This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal Dance programme on 01.09.2019 at 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the festival of Arulmighu Sri Dharama Muneeswarar Thirukovil at Thiruvekambathur,Devakottai Taluk,Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2019.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal Dance programme on 01.09.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 14.08.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith, by imposing necessary conditions.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
