ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Cr.No.10 of 2024 and to file a final report within a reasonable time. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the investigation in Cr.No.10 of 2024 has been completed and final report has also been filed through E.Filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram, on 11.06.2025. 3.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report through E-filing is not sufficient. It is the duty of the respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file.
