ORDER

The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition, with a grievance that on the complaint of fourth respondent, the respondent police is harassing them.

2. Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that on 18.06.2026, the fourth respondent has lodged a complaint before the second respondent Police that the first petitioner has executed sale deed in favour of the fourth respondent by creating forged document and the same was cancelled by the revenue authority. Based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, the second respondent Police conducted enquiry and registered a criminal case in Crime No.248 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 336(2), 336(3), 340(2), 318(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023.
