Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR) Court, Thanjavur to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the same day on his surrender in connection with Crime No.270 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent. O R D E R

Seeking direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR) Court, Thanjavur to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner, on the same day on his surrender in connection with Crime No.270 of 2025, on the file of the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has abused the defacto complainant by degrading his caste name and also attacked him by using a plastic chair, thereby caused injuries to him. Therefore, the case in Crime No.270 of 2025 has been registered as against this petitioner, for the offence under Sections 296(b), 118(1) of BNS, r/w Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) & 3(2)(va) of SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989.

3.Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents submits that the earlier application filed by this petitioner in Crl.OP(MD) No.10794 of 2025 2/4

has been dismissed as withdrawn on 26.06.2025. 4.Considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
