PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to issue a direction, to direct the Learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tenkasi to accept the surrender of the petitioners in connection with Crime No. 181/2026 pending investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent police and to consider their bail application on the same day of surrender and pass such other suitable orders.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused Nos.1 to 9 in Crime No.181 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tenkasi, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in Crime No.181 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. The petitioners shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 06.07.2026.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
