ORDER

Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.The petitioner has been working as Driver under the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam) Limited from 22.06.2015 and his driving license was seized on the basis of registration of a case against him in Crime No.76 of 2016 under Sections 279 and 304(A) of IPC by the Motor Vehicle Inspector, who in turn gave the same to the respondent. According to the petitioner, due to seizure of his driving license, he was deprived of his employment and the respondent has no power to seize the same. In this regard, the petitioner had sent a representation on 06.04.2016 to the respondent. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.04.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
