The petitioner claims that she is entitled for a patta with regard to the land in Survey No.667/66, measuring to an extent of 0.06.00 ares situate at Themangulam Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin in the light of G.O.(Nilai) No.318, dated 30.08.2019 submitted a representation on 15.12.2022 before the respondent and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider her representation.
2.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent on instructions, which he has received from the Tahsildar, Tuticorin submits that the petitioner's representation has been forwarded by the 2/5
Tahsildar to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur on 04.07.2023 for consideration and the same is under consideration of the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner's representation has already been recommended by the Tahsildar to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur on 04.07.2023 and the same is with the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur for consideration, this Court, suo motu impleads the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur as the second respondent in this writ petition and directs the learned Additional Government Pleader to take notice for the newly impleaded respondent. The newly impleaded respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of this petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
