This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to dispose of the representation dated 12.07.2023 given by the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has travelled from Chennai to Madurai on 30.06.2023 in Vetri Travels AC Omni bus bearing vehicle No.NL 01 B 1165 and after reaching the destination i.e., Kallal, Sivagangai District, the petitioner has realized that she has lost 11 1⁄2 sovereigns of gold, which are kept in a purse and immediately, filed a complaint before the Police, but, no case is registered.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that soon after receiving of the complaint, C.S.R.No.322 of 2023 is registered and enquiry was conducted The Driver and Conductor were examined and that the petitioner is not in a position to explain as to in which Police jurisdiction, the jewellery were lost and that the petitioner has not given the details of the ornaments lost by her.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will instruct the petitioner to give all the details to the Police and appear as and when required by the Police.

Considering the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to consider the representation dated 12.07.2023 of the petitioner and dispose of the same as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
