RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time for 2 weeks to comply the order in Crl.OP.(MD). No.9018 of 2021 dt.8.7.2021 on the file of this Honble Court. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.PREM KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side)on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9018 of 2021 dated 08.07.2021.

This Court, vide order dated 08.07.2021, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the copy of the order was made ready on 14.07.2021 and the same was received on 16.07.2021. Thereafter, the petitioner made effective steps to get valuation certificate from the Village Administrative Officer. But, due to agitations among the government servants, the petitioner was unable to get certificate and since the petitioner was also suffering from viral fever, he was unable to comply with the condition imposed by this Court. Further, due to the pandemic situation, he could not arrange two sureties. Hence, he prayed for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.8469 of 2021 extension of time.

4. This Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on 08.07.2021. The petitioner claims that he received the order copy only on 16.07.2021. After knowing his inability to get valuation certificate from the Village Administrative Officer and to arrange sureties, he preferred this petition for extension of time only in the month of October 2021. Since the petitioner has come before this Court after the lapse of two months, this Court is not inclined to extend the time.

5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed with liberty to file a fresh petition.
