PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings of the second respondent made in M.H.S.Confdl.No.119/2021, dated 16.08.2021 and subsequently quash the same as devoid of merits, illegal and consequently direct the detenu viz., Murugan, nS/o.Mr.Patchaikkan Thevar, aged about 48 years, originally residing at Middle Street, Thalapathisamudram Melur, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District and now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District as Goonda to be at liberty forthwith.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition as the detention order was revoked by the Advisory Board and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
