This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to provide further inquiry regarding patta transfer in respect of properties in S.F. Nos.80/2, 105/1D and 106/7C situated at South Ilayangudi Group, Ilayangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the District Revenue Officer will consider the representation of the petitioners on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 19.06.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy 2/4
