This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's representation/appeal, dated 11.03.2024.
2.Heard Mr.M.Mohanasundaram, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Subburaj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4.It is the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has purchased an agriculture land to an extent to 1.43 acres and after paying the sale consideration, presented the same for registration before the second respondent on 14.09.2023. However, so far the same is not registered by the 2nd respondent and kept pending. The 2nd respondent has addressed a letter to the Tahsildar to find out the patta holders of the said property. Hence, this petition has been filed seeking a direction to release his sale deed.

5.If a document is presented for registration, the 2nd respondent cannot venture into the title issue, register the same, if the document is otherwise in order. After registration of document, the same shall be released, provided that the same is not referred under Section 47(A) of Indian Stamp Act, 1899. 6.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.03.2024 and register the document, if it is otherwise in order and after registration, shall release the same within a period of one month from the date of registration.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
