The petitioner / Accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.06.2025 for the offences punishable under Section 24(1) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Acts 2003 and Sections 281 and 123 BNS, 2023 in Crime No.406 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner is detained under Goondas Act.

3.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted.
