ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the case in C.C.No.146 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 403, 406, 477(A), 420, 294(b), 506(2) and 120(b) IPC is pending against one Shanmugasundaram, who is the staff of the petitioner and that investigation is pending.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the police from the second respondent office has come to the 2/4

petitioner's shop and threatened to reveal the whereabouts of the said Shanmugasundaram and they have been harassing the petitioner continuously.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that there is no complaint or case is pending against the present petitioner.

6. Even according to the respondents, the petitioner is the employer of the accused Shanmugasundaram, who is absconding in C.C.No.146 of 2024. Hence, the respondents are directed not to harass the petitioner in anyway.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
