ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Section 318(4) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.Not Known of 2026 on the file 1/4

of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there was a money dispute between the parties.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for State of TN (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioner. However, based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, the petition enquiry is pending and therefore, if the petitioner appears for enquiry, they will consider and dispose of the case within a period of 15 days in accordance with law.

4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with a direction to the respondent police to dispose of the enquiry 2/4

within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the dispute pertains to a monetary matter, they shall follow the circular issued by the higher authority.
