O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.03.2026, pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Government of Tamilnadu appearing for the respondents.

3. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.03.2026, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. According to the learned counsel for the Government of Page No. 2 of 4

Tamilnadu, the address of the second respondent is incorrect and that the correct address of the second respondent, namely, the Revenue Divisional Officer, is "Indira Nagar, Palani, Dindigul District - 624 601". The same is recorded and the cause title is suo motu amended by this Court. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the cause title and serve a copy of this order at the correct address.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
