ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the investigation fair and proper manner and file final report in Crime No.14 of 2024 before the concerned learned Judicial Magistrate within a time frame fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2024.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.14 of 2024 on 19.06.2024 for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and that they have already examined 8 witnesses and investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.14 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
