ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to rectify the error in FMB pertains to S.F.No.764/50 and 764/51 (Corresponding to old Survey No.764/43), situated at K.Keeranur Village, Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Aruljenifer, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, the subject property belonged to his family and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the said property by putting up the residential house thereon. The patta for the subject property was also issued in the name of the petitioner. However, during UDR updation, FMB for the subject property was wrongly prepared as if the subject property is a pathway. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 24.06.2025 seeking correction of FMB and the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, one

Ramachandran mentioned in the representation of the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
