ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to effect necessary rectification of Encumbrance Certificate of Property by including petitioner name in respect of Punja Land in Survey No. 707/5, to an extent of 0.18.5 Hectares (46 Cents) situated at Laksmanampatti Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudhukottai District, based on his representation dated 05.03.2025.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there is a suit in O.S.No.5 of 2012 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Keeranur, wherein the petitioner has obtained a decree in his favour. The petitioner is seeking to amend the encumbrance certificate based on the decree dated 08-12-2017.

3.Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05-03-2025 in the light of decree dated 08-12-2017. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
