Paramakudi to the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram for rectifying the mistake in respect of total extent of the land in the Village Accounts in respect of T.S.No.115/1 of Paramakudi Town, Ramanathapuram District within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner with a grievance that when he is entitled for 139.50 sq.ft in T.S.No.115/1, Paramakudi Town, Ramanathapuram District, he was issued with a patta to an extent of 97 sq.ft alone has approached the Sub Collector, Paramakudi to rectify the mistake in his patta by his application dated 24.01.2022. Since his application has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions 2/5

submits that the Sub Collector is conducting an enquiry on the petitioner's application and a decision would be taken within a period of twelve weeks.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conclude the enquiry and to take a decision on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
