PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to conduct the enquiry, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 06.10.2020, 07.07.2022 and 13.08.2022 in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to conduct the enquiry, by considering the petitioner's representations, dated 06.10.2020, 07.07.2022 and 13.08.2022 in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 & 2 submitted that, upon the representations of the petitioner, the 2nd respondent police has conducted enquiry and the same were closed and advised the petitioner to approach the Civil Court. He further submitted that the 2nd respondent police is out of jurisdiction and direction may be issued to the petitioner to approach the Bazar Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The statement is recorded. 2/4

3. Recording the same, this Writ petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional police and give complaint. No Cost.
