ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents herein to refix the pay of the petitioner on his promotion on 27.10.2010, after granting of annual increment which was due on 01.01.2011 and fix the consequential pension.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was working as Sub-Registrar, Grade-II in the Registration Department and subsequently, by the order of the first respondent dated 27.10.2010, he was promoted as the Sub-Registrar, Grade-I. Hence, his pay was sought to be refixed on the basis of the promotion given on 27.10.2010 along with annual increment, which was due on 01.01.2011. Hence, he made representations 08.09.2011 and 09.04.2012 seeking the above said relief. Since the same have not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the

respondents submitted that the representations of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2012 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
