ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.1544 of 2020 pending on the file of the second respondent police within the time fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.1544 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341,324, 307 IPC, on the file of the second respondent police. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of more than a year, no progress has been made in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far 5 witnesses have been examined. He would seek five months time to complete the investigation and file final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15696 of 2021 4.In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
