ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide alternative employment to the petitioner other than the post of Conductor in the same scale of pay and service seniority by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, he met with an accident during the year 2009 in which he sustained fracture in spinal cord and during the month of November 2015, his gallbladder was removed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and therefore, he is unable to do the work of conductor. Hence, he submitted a representation dated 02.03.2016 to the respondents seeking alternative employment. Since no order has been passed so far, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition. 3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)No.6591 of 2016 is closed.
