The petitioner has filed this writ petition apprehending that an attempt is made to disqualify the elected members and to conduct a fresh election for the 5th respondent Co-operative Societies. 2.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submits that for the purpose of enumerating the voter 2/5

list, a circular was issued by the first respondent/the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to enumerate the voter list after adding the names of new members and deleting the names of deceased members. Misconstruing the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned Additional Advocate General further submits that neither the Government nor the Department is having any inclination to disturb the tenure of the elected Members, without following due process of law.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.07.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
