ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. The minor petitioner is represented by her mother Mallika, who claims to be a daughter of said Mallika through late Malaisamy, who died on 19.07.2024. It appears that the said Malaisamy was working as a Sanitary Supervisor in Vadipatti Panchayat, Madurai District.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's mother contracted a second marriage with the petitioner's father, late Malaisamy, after the demise of his first wife namely Mary, who passed away on 01.04.2004. The petitioner, through her mother Mallika, approached the respondents seeking issuance of a legal heir certificate including the petitioner's name.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appeared on behalf of the respondents, I am inclined to dispose the Writ Petition by directing the 2/4

respondents to enquire about the petitioner's family and thereafter, issue a Legal Heir Certificate by incorporating the name of the petitioner if she is indeed the daughter of Late Malaisamy, as has been claimed by her in the affidavit filed in support of the petition within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Needless to state, the other Legal heirs of Malaisamy through his first wife shall also be heard before passing the final order.
