ORDER : This Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii) (C), 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Cr.No.11 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 17.01.2025.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused was illegal possession of 22.950 kgs contraband. Hence, this case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that 8 kgs of ganja only seized from the petitioner and the petitioner is in judicial custody for more than one year. Hence, he seeks bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent submitted that totally, 22.950 of contraband was recovered from the accused persons, which is commercial quantity. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that the quantity of the contraband is commercial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
