Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of nativity certificate. She has given a representation dated 18.11.2020 in this regard. The petitioner originally hails from the State of Kerala. She got married to one S.Johny and has settled down in Manavalakurichi. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader points out that for issuance of nativity certificate, the applicant must have continuously resided in the place for preceding five years. The petitioner got married only in August 2020. The requirement is obviously not met in this case. Therefore, the petitioner's request for issuance of nativity certificate cannot be considered. Ofcourse, the rejection of the request for issuance of nativity certificate for the present will not take away the other rights open to the petitioner herein.
