For Petitioner : Mr.R.Balakrishnan

For Respondents : Ms.S.Jeya Priya, Government Advocate.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to consider her representation, dated 24.02.2025, seeking separate patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.53/12, Mangalanadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. It is the specific case of the petitioner that her husband Chellaiah purchased 265 1⁄2 sq.ft of land in the above mentioned survey number on 11.06.1991 and has been residing thereon by putting superstructure.

However, the patta for the subject property stands as joint patta. Therefore, the petitioner submitted instant representation, dated 24.02.2025, seeking issuance separate patta before the first respondent and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not filed proper online application seeking issuance of separate patta.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to file proper on-line application and produce the acknowledgement before the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such production of acknowledgment, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
