The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6, to remove the unauthorized new construction of Church made by the 7th respondent in Survey No.1057 in Nethaji Nagar, Seikalathur Village Panchayat, Manamadurai Taluk,

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, has 2/4

produced the proceedings issued by the District Collector, Sivagangai District, in Na.Ka.R2/13855/2021, dated 02.03.2022, granting permission for the construction of the Church in the subject place.

3. In view of the above, the prayer as sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, has become infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is for him to challenge the aforesaid order passed by the District Collector, in the manner known to law. No Costs.
