For Petitioner : Mr.L.Juliet Caroline For Respondents : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to provide police protection while fencing the land in Survey Nos.222/8B and 222/11 to the extent of 35 cents situated in Poovatrakudi Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has got dispute with one Mohan in respect of the property belonging to her and the petitioner's father has filed a suit in O.S.No.212 of 2001 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi, seeking permanent injunction. It was decreed in favour of the petitioner's father and the decree has become final. The petitioner has subsequently approached the Tahsildar and got her land surveyed. Basing on the said survey, the petitioner intends to fence the land, for which, said Mohan is raising objection.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner has sent a representation through the Superintendent of Police who in turn forwarded the same to the fourth respondent Police. It is submitted that the fourth respondent Police will complete the enquiry and if necessary, police protection will be given.
4. The same is recorded. This Criminal Original Petition is therefore disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before the fourth respondent Police in response to her representation dated 02.06.2023 and the fourth respondent Police are directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 26.07.2023 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No ssb To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Pudukkottai District, Pudukkottai.
