Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner has given quite a few applications before the respondent. One is for amendment of by-laws. Another is for extension of the tenure.

3.I do not want to go in to the merits of the matter. The respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
