For Respondent : M/s.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime.No. 213 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Section 21(A) of Arms Act, in Crime No.213 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 13.08.2021, the respondent Police conducted vehicle check-up. At that time, the respondent Police found the petitioner in possession of sword in his vehicle. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

petitioner was granted bail by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram on 19.08.2021 in Cr.M.P.No.1822 of 2021 with a condition that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent Police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders. However, he has failed to appear before the respondent Police. Hence, the respondent Police moved an application for cancellation of anticipatory bail before the Principal District and Sessions Court, Ramanathapuram and the trial Court has sent summons to the petitioner. However, he is evading the summons.

5. Considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
