ORDER

This Court, by its order dated 04.07.2022, passed in W.P.(MD).No.1607 of 2021, had directed the respondent to sanction the subsistence allowance and disburse the same to the petitioner herein within the stipulated period. Alleging disobedience, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the written instructions, dated 25.08.2022, whereby, it is stated that a sum of Rs.7,13,509/- has been deposited to the petitioner's account towards subsistence allowance. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the subsistence allowance will also be paid to the petitioner in future. Such a statement is also ratified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the alleged disobedience cannot be termed to be willful in nature and hence, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 29.08.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Lm 2/4
