O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the fourth respondent to give proper police protection to the petitioner and her husband Viz.Nirmal life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 05.10.2021.

2.The case of the petitioner is that she performed inter-caste marriage with one Nirmal and the same was accepted by the parents of her husband. But they are facing life threat at the hands of the petitioner's parents. Hence, she gave a representation before the fourth respondent, but the same is kept pending in CSR.No.381 of 2021 without any progress.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the marriage held between the petitioner and her husband is inter-caste marriage, apprehending threat in the hands of their parents, the petitioner made a representation. 4.Let enquiry be completed on the petitioner's representation by summoning the petitioner and her husband and their parents and depending upon the outcome of the enquiry the fourth respondent may take further steps. Though the parents of the husband of the petitioner accepted their marriage, they may also enquire, so that amicable settlement can be reached between the parties. The entire process shall be completed within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
