Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned land on the basis of his representation dated 01.07.2022. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate based on the written instructions from the respondent submitted that it is not possible to accept the petitioner's request as the petition mentioned land has been classified as "road".

4.As rightly pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondents will have to formally enquire into the representation and thereafter pass a speaking order. The respondent shall do so within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondent passes any adverse order, it is always open to the writ petitioner to question the same in the manner known to law.
