ORDER
The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition to quash the first information report in Crime No.27 of 2025 on the file of the 1st respondent police station.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are son and father. Due to the registration of this criminal case, the petitioner / Village Assistant has been placed under suspension. Therefore, the proceedings against the petitioner have to be quashed.
3.Though the petitioner has raised several grounds this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the grounds raised by the petitioner and it is a matter for investigation and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner has to raise all these grounds before the investigating officer, who shall consider it. If any final report is filed as against the petitioner, he can challenge the same in the manner known to law. Further it is open to the petitioner to move an application before this Court, if the issue is amicably settled. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 14.07.2025 DSK 2/4
